What You'll be Doing?- Making frequent rounds of facility to insure adequate safeguards and client safety are maintained.
- Observing clients for changes in behavior and motivates clients to participate in activities.
- Advises clients in their personal adjustment utilizing verbal de-escalation techniques.
- Interprets the client handbook for clients as needed and applies applicable rules and regulations to clients.
- Documents individual contacts, daily case notes, incident and injury reports and grievances.
- Assists clients in preparing for court appearances or other outside activities.
- Implements supportive, psycho-educational and recreational groups.
- Advises and guides clients on personal hygiene habits.
- Monitors and tracks compliance with self-administered medication process after successful completion of training provided by ACTS, Inc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or the equivalent.
- Ability to pass Federal, State and Local Law Level 2 background clearances.
- Ability to participate in crisis intervention and CPR/First Aid training and apply learned techniques, as needed.
