Perform treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture. Respond appropriately to clinical emergencies. Participate in quality improvement activities, follow isolation guidelines, use protective equipment, perform handwashing per policy, enforce safety regulations. Continuously learn and upgrade skills. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist in patient care under a registered nurse’s direction.
Document and report all procedures. Obtain nursing history, report abnormalities, and assist in assessing patient needs.
- High School Graduate or equivalent (Required)
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Emergency Medical Technician Cert (EMT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
$15.87 - $25.38 per hour
