- ED Admission Rate: 22% representing 85% of total hospital admissions
- EMR:
Epic - State-of-the-art ED opened in August 2021
- Specialized rooms for bariatrics, pediatrics & gynecology
- Service backup includes stat tele-stroke support for acute strokes, telepsychiatry, and pediatric
- Interventional Cardiac Lab and STEMI Team 24/7
- Primary Stroke Center
- Excellent equipment includes three CTs (one in ED), one MRI with 24/7 access, and one dedicated emergency department ultrasound machine
- High acuity facility with broad community-type pathology including pediatrics, medical, surgical, and geriatrics
- Full Department status; ED physicians do not write admitting orders for hospitalist admissions
- Radiology room located adjacent to ED with dedicated tech 24 hours per dayy;
Glide-scope available in ED - Active hospitalists facilitate over 90% of medical admissions
- $4,000 tax-free CME/BEA annually
- $6,500 plus your state and DEA license in year one for new graduates
