Are you an experienced Dental Assistant who loves teamwork, organization, and helping create beautiful smiles? Tarpon Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused practice.

As our Lead Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our clinical operations running smoothly — supporting our dentists, mentoring team members, and ensuring every patient enjoys a comfortable, efficient visit.

• Lead and support the dental assisting team with daily tasks and scheduling.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and Invisalign.
• Maintain and enforce sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Manage clinical inventory and supply ordering.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper setup and breakdown.
• Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans.
• Communicate effectively with patients about post-op care and treatment instructions.
• Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients.
• Follow up with patients to ensure scheduling and case acceptance.
• Collaborate with front office staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Train and mentor new assistants or externs.

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Current Florida Dental Assistant Certification and X-ray license.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience presenting treatment plans to patients.
• Proficiency with digital charting and dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar).
