Research scientist (Business and Management)

We are looking for a high-caliber Research Scientist to support applied academic research derived from real business cases in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations
, with the objective of publishing in Scopus-indexed journals (Q1–Q3).

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong academic background who are passionate about transforming real company data and practices into high-impact scientific publications
.

Conduct end-to-end academic research based on real business case studies.

Design and execute:

• Qualitative research (FGD, in-depth interviews, coding, thematic analysis)
• Mixed methods research

Develop research framework, hypotheses, and models aligned with journal standards.

Process and analyze data using appropriate statistical and qualitative tools.

Write full academic manuscripts (IMRaD structure) ready for Scopus submission
.

Identify research gaps from practical business problems.

Manage journal targeting, reviewer responses, and revisions
.

Support development of books, white papers, and applied research outputs.

Maintain research documentation, datasets, and publication pipeline.

Master’s degree (S2) or PhD (S3) in Business, Management, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering and Statistics.

Minimum 3 Scopus-indexed journal publications in business/management
.

Strong understanding of Scopus journal selection and ranking (Q1–Q4).

Experience conducting industry-based or company-sponsored research
.

Experience as:

• Research assistant
• PhD candidate / postdoctoral researcher

Familiar with:

• SLR / PRISMA
• Case study methodology

Strong English academic writing skills.

Strong mastery of:
Quantitative methods, Qualitative methods, and Mixed methods research
.

Familiar with:

• Hypothesis development
• Measurement model & structural model
• Validity & reliability testing
