- Set up and implement finance, tax, and accounting policies and procedures
- Oversee invoice processing, expense management, and vendor payments
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Supervise the Administration Assistant and Bookkeeper
- Transition bookkeeping from outsourced to in-house operations
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs and dashboards (integrated with Xero, e.g. Fathom)
- Support fundraising through financial models, budgets, and investor materials
- Manage the company’s cap table using Carta
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations
- Stay up to date on tax regulation changes and provide proactive guidance
