Risk Manager/Analyst, Financial Compliance
This role is critical in ensuring healthy portfolio performance, reducing delinquency rates, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability, analytical thinking, and deep expertise in credit recovery operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement collection strategies to optimize recovery rates and minimize Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance against KPIs and targets.
Lead, supervise, and provide direction to collection teams, including desk collectors, field collectors, and team leaders.
Ensure all collection activities comply with OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Analyze borrower repayment behavior, portfolio trends, and risk exposure; provide insights and recommendations to management.
Handle escalated delinquency cases and negotiate repayment solutions with borrowers.
Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Operations teams to manage default cases and execute recovery actions.
Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and prepare performance reports for management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of digital collection tools, automation, and data-driven strategies.
Ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service when handling sensitive collection matters.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in credit collection or recovery, preferably within Fintech, P2P Lending, Banking, or Multifinance industries.
Proven experience managing and leading collection teams.
Strong knowledge of credit risk management, debt recovery processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting financial data and borrower behavior.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and collection management systems.
Ability to work under pressure, manage complex cases, and achieve performance targets.
Familiarity with digital lending platforms and technology-driven collection strategies is an advantage.
