Japanese Language Teacher

Teaching Responsibilities

• Teaching Japanese as a foreign language to students via online with ZOOM Application
• Able to deliver lessons using direct method (Japanese language) in order to create an immersive classroom environment where the teacher and students can use the Japanese language to communicate naturally.
• Promoting cultural exchange and cross-cultural understanding, and to introduce Japanese customs and traditions.
• Enable students to achieve practical communication skills, as well as to equip them with the language skills that can be applied / required for student's next study academic requirements for their next study in Japan Schools or in a professional working environment.
• Participation in lesson planning, as well as other tasks required of a school environment.
• Ability to evaluate, design, and implement curriculum, testing, and/or teaching methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Japanese language ability must be of a native level or near-to native level;
• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree (S1 Sarjana);
• Possess one of the following qualifications (a, b, c):
  • a. Major or sub-major in Japanese Language Teaching in college/university;
  • b. Completed a Japanese Teacher Training Course at a study institution or have at least teaching experiences in the same field required for minimum of 1-3 years;
  • c. Passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test Minimum JLPT N2/N1, with certification no longer than 5-to-8 years-old certification. For Applicant with ONLY N4 and N5 Certification, Please DO NOT APPLY.
• Has Basic Knowledge to operate MS Windows 10 and above, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), as well understand ZOOM functions and IT in General.

• To be able to commit to teach/take class minimum of (10) class meeting(s) each week or minimum (15-hour-work) week / retail hours / off-day may not be a weekend
• To be able to commit to classes that are held mainly in the evenings and on weekends.
• Good team player with good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Experienced in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF (basic office application) and other applications/tools that needed for online lessons
• Candidate MUST has adequate unlimited internet connection (NOT 3/4/5G GSM/Tethering), and adequate PC/Notebook hardware including proper working webcam and headset, able to use virtual background on zoom without green screen
• Candidate requires to do/follow minimum of 2 trial teaching appointed classes (in the recruitment process) and conduct full-training according to company standards

• a. If a teacher teach 1 week minimum of 10 meeting(s) - one month salary expectation around IDR 4,000,000 (with based salary rates)
• b. If a teacher has been working with us with our career system with 10 meeting(s) of teaching - one month salary can be as high as around IDR 6,000,000 and above.
• c. Salary Per Meet start from IDR 60,000 (Junior) with based salary IDR 100,000 up-to 150,000(Senior)
