Strategic Procurement Sr Specialist - MRO & CAPEX (Manager)
- Create sourcing & procurement strategies that improve the value of materials and supplier agreements - both in the short and long term
- Drive cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Encourage innovation from our external business partners by building relationships and describe what we are looking for.
- Manage all cost negotiations, MOQs and lead times with suppliers
- Lead tender group for indirect production
- Experience working with strategic sourcing (
MRO & CAPEX
), leading the end-to-end sourcing process, from early supplier engagement through negotiation and ongoing performance. - Purchasing mastery & deep understanding of cost drivers and cost models; analytical ability to connect this to favorable financial terms.
- Proven performance history of delivery of procurement processes with a knowledge of current best practices.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships - demonstrated ability to lead high-level interactions with internal business partners, suppliers, and working effectively across.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively - demonstrating ability to balance strategic and tactical business skills.
- Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and adept at using data to influence business decisions.
