EVAPCO Inc. is an Employee-Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD and has an opening for a Drafting Intern. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team!

Specific Responsibilities:

Makes detail drawings and assembly drawings from solid models created by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
Learns Solid Edge knowledge and skills
Works on simple Drafting Projects
Revise drafts and models, directed by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
Checks own work

Qualifications:

Must have Drafting and Design classes and currently be working towards a Certificate or Associates Degree in Computer Drafting and Design Technology field (or related)
Ability to work in a team environment
Possess excellent communication and computer skills
Possess excellent organizational skills
Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment a plus
A working knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM software a plus
