Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and optimise mechanical systems related to diesel‑powered generator sets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and devise corrective actions.
• Oversee all mechanical design.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in power generation mechanical engineering.
• Ensure compliance with EU/UL standards and regulations pertaining to mechanical systems and safety.
• Create and manage the technical drawing library.
• Carry out all work in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the power generation sector.
• Experience with Stage V and Tier 4 Final engine after‑treatment systems.
• Experience in airflow calculations.
• Experience in heat testing.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with hands‑on technical expertise.
• Familiarity with CE/UL engineering standards.
• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools; experience using Creo would be beneficial.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–15:30.
