Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

Up to £80,000 | £5,000 Welcome Bonus | 4-Day Week | No OOH

The Vet Office is working exclusively on behalf of an independent, family-owned small animal practice in the UK that is entering an exciting new phase of growth, including a full refurbishment and rebrand
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon ready to step into a Lead Vet role
, focusing on clinical excellence while being fully supported by an established management structure.

The Opportunity
  • Lead and develop a strong, experienced clinical team

  • Maintain a predominantly clinical focus
    , with excellent support from Practice Management and Owners
  • Join a stable, long-standing team
    , with some staff members having over 20 years service
  • Play a key role in shaping the future direction of the practice
  • Opportunity for future partnership for the right candidate
Working Pattern
  • 4 days per week

  • 1 in 3 Saturdays

  • No Sundays

  • No Out of Hours (OOH)

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary up to £80,000 FTE (DOE)

About You
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Proven experience in leading or supporting a clinical team
  • Confident managing more complex medical and surgical cases
  • Passionate about mentoring and developing junior vets
  • Proactive, collaborative, and motivated to help drive a practice forward
