Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Tamworth. This is a permanent position offering excellent working hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brakes, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances while maintaining a right-first-time approach.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate Amada press brake machines

Manufacture components from engineering drawings and route cards

Ensure all parts meet quality and tolerance requirements

Carry out self-inspection using verniers, height gauges, and measuring tools

Identify and resolve production issues efficiently

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment

Support continuous improvement and team objectives

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience with Amada press brakes (essential)

Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Confident using handheld inspection equipment

Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude

What’s On Offer
