• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:45
• Friday: 07:30 - 12:00 (early finish)

About the Company

A well-established engineering business in Tamworth specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery.

The Role

This is a hands-on Despatch Operator role suited to someone with a mechanical or electrical background who understands how high-value equipment should be prepared for global shipment.

You will be responsible for ensuring completed machinery is correctly prepared, protected, and packed for container shipping worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing finished machinery for despatch
• Checking all accessories, components, and documentation are present
• Applying correct protective packaging and shrink wrapping
• Securing machinery for container and overseas transport
• Working closely with production and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines

About You

You will bring:

• A mechanical or electrical background with hands-on experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience packing machinery or technical equipment for export (highly desirable)
• A practical, proactive mindset with pride in quality workmanship
