Assembly Operative

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Assembly Operative for a large prestigious manufacturing company based in Tamworth. This is a Permanent role working day shift.

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday 08:00am - 16:15pm & Friday 7:30am – 16:00pm.

Pay rate: £12.36 per hour.

Flexible working hours needed (weekend & shift working may be required).

• Working on a fast paced production line.
• Assembling and inspecting various parts.
• Using hand and air powered tools.
• Using torque wrenches & measuring devices.
• Reading and following instructions from drawings & manufacturing specs.
• Identifying any scrap or rejects that do not adhere to standards and specifications.
• Suggesting recommendations to improve processes.
• Quality inspect and final visual inspection of all parts.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar Assembly and manufacturing environment.
• Must have a keen eye for intricate details.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Heavy lifting involved; will stand most of the working day.
