This is a pivotal leadership role and requires a Deputy Headteacher with previous senior leadership experience within a SEND setting. You will work closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to drive high standards, support staff, and ensure pupils receive the highest quality provision and care.The Role:
- Supporting the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
- Leading and developing high-quality SEND provision across KS2-KS4
- Supporting staff to deliver inclusive, high-impact teaching and learning
- Monitoring standards, progress and outcomes for pupils with Autism and associated needs
- Contributing to school improvement planning and quality assurance
- Working closely with families, external professionals and local authorities
- Playing a key role in safeguarding, behaviour, inclusion and wellbeing
- Previous SLT experience in a SEND school or specialist setting
- Strong knowledge and experience of Autism and associated needs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to support, challenge and inspire staff
- A calm, reflective and solution-focused leadership approach
