Job Description
Looking for the right person for the long haul. We provide large item waste hauling services for multiple locations all over the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. Mostly furniture (couches, mattresses, tables, chairs, etc.). Drivers pick up debris at specified locations at multiple properties per day, transport it to a landfill or dumpsite to empty it, then repeat. We drive pickup trucks with attached trailers.
Must be able to back up a trailer. Very physical job: heavy lifting and moving. Must possess a CAN-DO attitude with a working smarter not harder mindset. Know your way around town and have a smartphone. Need to be able to pack a trailer efficiently. Moving experience is a plus. Must have some mechanical sensibilities.
- Changing a tire
- Plugging a tire
- Taking trailers on and off the hitch
- Using ratchet straps
- Understanding leverage and balance, weight distribution
Need to have a clean driver’s license. Must have IMPECCABLE communication and customer service skills. Job Type: Full-time. Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour.
