Role Overview

We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our Mechanical SVC Parts Runner role. The Mechanical SVC Parts Runner is responsible for picking up and/or returning replacement parts that are needed to service Snider’s mechanical customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform core returns to ensure a profitable operation.
  • Pick needed parts from various supply warehouses and manufacturing dealerships.
  • Return unneeded inventory for credit on Snider’s charge accounts.
  • Effectively communicate all necessary information with the techs, mechanical parts specialist, and mechanical operations manager to ensure proper parts are ordered and/or received.
  • Conduct daily reviews of parts room/warehouse, parts trucks, and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and demonstrate a safety‑conscious mindset.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time, and wear the correct uniform.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.
Work Environment

The work will be in the local branch office, service shop, and warehouse environment. This will be a mechanical and/or commercial truck service center. Employees are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and the noise level is typically moderate to high.

Education and Experience
  • Must have a clean driving record.
Certificates and Licenses
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Safety conscious at all times.
  • Organizational and time‑management skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Reliable and dependable with self‑initiative.
  • Ability to multi‑task, work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sound decision‑making skills and adaptability to changing conditions.
