We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stratus Developer to join our dynamic technology team. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable systems for high-impact projects in the banking and payments domain
. As a Stratus Developer, you will leverage your deep understanding of Unix/Linux systems, C/C++ programming, and the Stratus VOS platform to deliver mission‑critical solutions. If you're passionate about building reliable systems and enjoy solving complex problems collaboratively, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Stratus VOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, both onshore and offshore, to gather requirements and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications across the full stack and ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and enforce best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
• Participate in system design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Maintain version control, documentation, and testing protocols in line with enterprise standards.
• Support integration with major payment brands (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Discover).

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience working with Unix/Linux
  , including strong command line and scripting skills.
• Proficiency in C or C++ programming
  .
• Deep expertise in Linux/Unix internals
  , multi‑threading,
  sockets
  , and IPCs
  .
• Hands‑on experience with Stratus VOS operating system.
• Knowledge of design patterns
  , data structures
  , and algorithms
  .
• Solid experience working with SQL, Oracle, No
  
  SQL
  , or other database management systems.
• Exposure to cards processing
  , banking systems
  , and payment domain workflows
  .
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

Preferred & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Familiarity with POS simulators and simulators from major payment brands (Visa, Mastercard, Discover).
• Knowledge of Control‑M,
  Python
  , Java
  , or additional programming languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern front‑end technologies
  .
• Exposure to agile methodologies and Dev Ops tools.
