Overview

Compensation: $85,000 - $125,000 based on experience and credentials

Location Type: Remote (Candidate must reside in the state of FL)
Position Type: Full Time

The Application Developer designs, builds, implements, and supports the applications used at Suncoast Credit Union. The Application Development Team is a nimble group responsible for all aspects of the systems used throughout the organization. An ideal candidate is an experienced developer who thrives in a team environment.

• Collaborate with team members in the development, testing, and deployment of new product features
• Conduct code reviews with peers
• Provide technical analysis and work effort estimates for user stories
• Optimize code to improve performance and efficiency
• Deliver on the commitment to providing member value
• Cooperate with the team in an agile environment to embrace continuous change and deliver value
• Coordinate with the team to define and prioritize work
• Utilize pair programming to continuously improve technical skills
• Conduct appropriate testing to identify and resolve issues prior to QA testing
• Communicate with customers and product stakeholders
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Cultivate strong working relationships and build trust among team members
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of current laws, trends, issues, and regulations affecting the area of expertise
• Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge and benefit the organization

• 3+ years of C# experience
• 3+ years of full-stack application development experience in a team environment
• 2+ years of web development experience
• 2+ years of Cloud Data storage technologies, such as SQL Server, No
  
  SQL, etc
• Experience with coding and code review
• Experienced problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with agile or scrum methodologies preferred
• Experience with Flutter Mobile Development, Domain Driven Design, Micro-Service Architecture, and/or Microsoft Azure (or similar cloud, AWS, GCP, etc) preferred
• Experience with automated testing tools, CICD tools preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
• Ability to resolve difficult and complex problems
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
• Ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
