We are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter II to join our fast‑growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude and strong problem‑solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.

• Follow directions and assist Lead Piping Installer as needed
• Assist in installation of piping
• Assist in equipment setting
• Must be able to work well with others and be able to take direction
• Strong organizational and planning skills;

• Maintain safe work environment by complying with safety policies and procedures

• Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through First Call Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry
• Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the First Call our customers make for their HVAC & Refrigeration needs

This position reports to the local Project Manager, and has a responsibility to the entire service team and sales team.

• At least 3+ years of commercial pipe fitting experience, with a strong understanding of piping systems and installation practices
• Proficient in fabricating, installing, and repairing piping systems
• Ability to interpret and work from mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and blueprints with minimal supervision
• Solid knowledge of job site safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a government background check, drug test, and other site pre‑access requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
