- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all OSHA regulations, company safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Minimum 5+ years of verifiable experience as a pipefitter in commercial and/or industrial HVAC settings (journeyman-level preferred).
- Current journeyman pipefitter license (or ability to obtain promptly in the relevant jurisdiction).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or willingness to complete upon hire); strong commitment to safety in all operations.
- Proven proficiency in blueprint reading, layout, measurement, cutting, threading, welding/brazing (as applicable), and fitting various pipe materials (e.g., steel, copper, PVC/CPVC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with team members, supervisors, clients, and subcontractors.
- Strong multitasking, problem‑solving, and follow‑through abilities, both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Physically capable of working in demanding environments: able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, frequently bend, kneel, stoop, climb ladders/scaffolding, work in confined spaces, and stand/walk on uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (may be required for job sites).
All duties must be performed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including building codes and industry standards. IC Mechanical, a Modigent company, offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth in a dynamic team environment focused on quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
