Overview:

The mechanic provides evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of construction fleet motorized equipment and components to support large-scale building projects.

Responsibilities:

Examine motorized equipment and related components for damage or malfunction.

Test motorized equipment systems and components.

Adjust, repair, and replace motorized equipment and components.

Review work orders and discuss work with Supervisors.

Plan work procedures using charts, technical manuals, and personal experience.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three years' experience in fleet equipment maintenance and repair.

Experience in repairing construction equipment such as hand tools, concrete finishing machines, mixers, small engines, air compressors, forklifts, trucks/vans, and shop equipment.

Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability to travel, including overnight stays.

Successful completion of drug screening and background check.

Team-oriented with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Attention to detail and adaptability to various personalities and situations.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.

CDL License preferred.

Working Conditions:

Employees frequently stand, walk, and reach with arms/hands. Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work is performed in warehouse/shop environments and at various job sites requiring walking.
