Job Description
Concrete Carpenters will engage in concrete repair and restoration work on bridges. This role involves reinforcing and restoring concrete piles and bents. Candidates must be comfortable working outside in a non-temperature controlled environment and have experience in marine concrete.
Responsibilities- Complete concrete repair and restoration work on bridges.
- Reinforce and restore concrete piles and bents.
- Utilize marine concrete repair techniques.
- Work in outdoor, non-temperature controlled conditions.
- Ensure personal tools and PPE are used at all times.
- Experience in marine concrete repair.
- Proficiency in concrete restoration and carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Installation skills.
- Experience using hand tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in bridge carpentry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
This position offers a steady stream of work with a one-year project on the bridge and an additional project at another location, extending through 2026. Successful contractors may have the opportunity to become permanent employees, providing job security and career growth.
Work EnvironmentWork is conducted outdoors in a non-temperature controlled environment. Technicians must have their own tools and wear PPE at all times.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
