We are currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver to be based out of Tampa, FL. The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for pulling orders, stock fitting shelves; loading and uploading trucks in the warehouse and ensuring the product is secure and safe. The role reports to the Shipping Manager.

• Pull fittings orders and check orders for accuracy.
• Process transactions on scanners.
• Know the yard and dock loading/unloading safety rules and procedures.
• Locate, accurately count, and package products for shipment.
• Inspect products and packaging for damage.
• Package, palletize, and bundle products for shipment using means appropriate for the method of transportation.
• Operate a forklift (required).
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly.
• Exceptional diligence and a standard level of accuracy & organization.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

• Complete any required training.
• Develop relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
• Become well‑versed in Atkore’s Business System and understand the importance of your role to daily operations.

As of the date of this posting, the good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $18.50 per hour. Placement within the range depends on several factors including specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
