CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sprinkler Helper to join our Fire Protection Services Team in Tampa or Miami, FL where you’ll play a key role in supporting the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems across commercial and industrial buildings.

• Assist in the layout, assembly, and installation of fire sprinkler piping systems and fire pumps
• Install valves, hangers, sprinklers, and related components under the guidance of a fitter or foreman
• Support hydrostatic testing and other system verification procedures to identify leaks or deficiencies
• Help with inventory tracking, material handling, and documentation as well as maintaining a clean and organized job site
• Work alongside experienced technicians to ensure installations meet NFPA standards, local codes, and customer requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No industry experience required; construction experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license required; must be willing to travel
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within the fire protection industry
• Ability to read blueprints and redlining fabrication drawings preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a positive customer service attitude
• Ability to work independently, adapt to various physical work environments, and lift heavy objects
• OSHA 30 training required or must obtain within 30 days of employment

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
