Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Electrical Superintendent based in Tampa, FL. The Electrical Superintendent will oversee the execution of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising teams, planning and organizing electrical installations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with clients and other project stakeholders. The role also entails managing project documentation, inspections, and compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Qualifications- Proven supervisory skills to manage teams, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient workflow
- Demonstrated expertise in electricity and electrical engineering principles
- Strong background in electrical contracting and knowledge of industry standards
- Proficient in troubleshooting and solving on‑site electrical issues effectively
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Experience with compliance to national and local electrical codes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in electrical engineering is preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., electrical contractor license) and prior experience in a similar role are advantageous
