• Assist with installations of hurricane shutters under guidance.
• Participate in training sessions and on‑job learning.
• Load and unload shutters and related materials at job sites.
• Prepare sites by measuring, marking, setting up ladders and organizing tools.
• Learn safe operation of hand and power tools under supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment.
• Support lead installer in communicating with customers professionally.
• Assist in site cleanup after installation.

• Mechanically minded with strong fault‑finding and rectification skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, engaging clients and vendors.
• Ability to work in hot, humid environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑starter able to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Abide by company regulations and standards.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid clean driver’s license.
• Carpentry experience required.
• 1–2 years in hurricane protection shutter installation a plus.

The position involves construction sites, exposure to moderate to loud noise levels, and various weather elements.

Work around fixed equipment and machinery, use lifts, ladders, and scaffolding, manipulate heavy equipment and tools, and wear protective gear in hazardous or adverse environments.
