ARMED SECURITY CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OFFICER - PT - 2ND SHIFT - SIGN-ON BONUS
This role is part of Martinez and Company, a licensed security agency providing specialized security services.
Position OverviewMartinez and Company is actively seeking disciplined, dedicated, and well‐trained Florida Class "D" and Armed "G" License Security Officers to join our Critical Infrastructure Security Team.

Shift DetailsVarious shifts available Monday through Sunday. Shift Time: 12:00 pm – 12:00 am.
Compensation- Base pay range: $18.00/hr – $24.00/hr
- Sign‑on bonus: $250 (subject to qualifications)
- Includes 27 hours of new hire paid training at $18/hour.
- Final interview process includes a 4‑hour unpaid pre‑hire orientation.
- Must possess military or law enforcement experience.
- Hold an Unarmed "D" Security License.
- Hold an Armed "G" Security License.
- Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- On‑the‑job and paid training.
- Flexible scheduling.
- Insurance options:
Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and AD&D.
- Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly using problem‑solving skills.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter.
- Work environments and conditions may vary depending on the client site.
- Florida Class "D" and "G" security licenses issued by the State of Florida DOACS.
- Completion of an approved State of Florida 40‑hour Unarmed Security Officer Course and 28‑hour Armed Security Officer Course.
- Possession of the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Proof of high school diploma, college degree, or valid state GED certificate.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Current or previous U.S. military or law enforcement experience (documentation required).
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable personal transportation and ability to commute to assigned job sites.
- 24/7 access to a smartphone and computer with internet connectivity.
- Intermediate computer skills, including email, web browsing, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self‑motivated and resourceful.
- Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and ability to interpret complex instructions.
- Ability to work safely in various environments, including commercial and industrial locations.
- Capacity to obtain necessary personal uniform items.
- Good physical condition with ability to walk up and down stairs in limited spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance; tattoos must be covered, and grooming standards must be followed as per company policy.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background investigation.
- Knowledge of security and law enforcement guidelines, including investigative techniques.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and ordinances governing Hillsborough County.
- CPR and first aid certifications or ability to obtain them.
- College‑level education is strongly desired.
