Position:
Physician Account Representative

Responsibilities include building relationships with physicians and office staff, providing education and customer resources to increase revenue, and expanding business within the territory. The role involves engaging with neurology, orthopedic, pain, primary care, Ob/Gyn, pediatric, and hospital groups to grow market share.

Essential Functions:

Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive attitude.

Manage multiple projects effectively, handle prospecting, cold calling, and setting appointments.

Maintain a proven sales record and meet or exceed sales targets.

Develop new business and expand existing accounts.

Stay updated on managed healthcare environment changes.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Develop and implement new sales strategies and promotions with physicians.

Address client concerns and manage call activity within physician practices.

Educate customers through presentations, in-services, and literature.

Display ambition, a strong work ethic, and openness to new ideas.

Maintain a clean driving record and reside within 30 miles of the territory.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

At least 2 years of sales experience; medical sales experience is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, sit for long periods, with frequent standing and walking. Good visual, auditory acuity, manual dexterity, and clear communication skills are essential. Must handle multiple deadlines and priorities.

Dress Attire:

Business casual, polo with Simon Med logo, or scrubs as needed.
