Job Summary

The IFSS Tampa branch is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our team. This role focuses on re‑engaging and developing business with new/former customers, primarily within the Security, CCTV, and Fire Alarm sectors. This individual will report to the Regional Sales Manager, and your target/coverage area will be, but not limited to, the Tampa area and surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer relationships, skilled in direct sales, and capable of driving growth through strategic outreach and solution‑based selling.

This role is also commission eligible.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Re‑establish and grow relationships with previous IFSS customers, with a primary focus on Security, CCTV, and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Identify and pursue direct negotiated sales opportunities with end users.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, including a minimum of 10 sales calls per week.
  • Participate in weekly activity review meetings to track progress and align on strategy.
  • Conduct customer visits, cold calls, and field surveys to generate leads and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Prepare scopes of work and proposals for monitoring, maintenance, and inspection agreements.
  • Support business development efforts including lead generation, estimating, take‑offs, and sales presentations.
  • Coordinate with internal cross‑functional teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Enter and manage all proposals and customer interactions in Hub Spot CRM.
  • Refer larger project opportunities to the Sales Manager for assignment and oversight.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in B2B/Outside sales, preferably in security systems, fire alarms, or related technical fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Hub Spot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to conduct field surveys and develop accurate scopes and proposals.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and initiating contact with prospective clients.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and mobile devices.
  • Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
