Base pay range

Responsibilities- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target industries and national markets.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing national clients — driving sales growth and account expansion.
- Lead client presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure estimates, proposals, and project execution align with client expectations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to uncover additional needs and upsell new services or regions.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure growth goals are met or exceeded.
- Support the Director of National Accounts in developing nationwide growth strategies, renewals, and long-term partnerships.
- Represent Delaware Valley Paving at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to increase visibility and lead generation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management — ideally within construction, facilities management, or B2B service industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a “hunter” mentality.
- Ability to manage multiple prospects and clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
