- Build relationships and develop plans to increase sales and profitability for mid‑size accounts.
- Generate viable sales leads and prospects through market and account research, sales events, networking, vendor events, and computer programs; contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business.
- Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts, collaborating with sales and key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales.
- Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin, and controllable expense objectives.
- Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service‑related issues.
- Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and apply that knowledge when servicing customers.
- Maintain and submit all required sales administration reports; regularly attend company meetings.
- Generally possess 2–5 years of experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle for at least 20% of the average work week; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be run and an acceptable MVR is required.
- Prior experience in outside sales to professional contractors.
- Familiarity with company products and services.
- Spanish language proficiency.
