Responsibilities
  • Build relationships and develop plans to increase sales and profitability for mid‑size accounts.
  • Generate viable sales leads and prospects through market and account research, sales events, networking, vendor events, and computer programs; contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business.
  • Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts, collaborating with sales and key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales.
  • Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin, and controllable expense objectives.
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service‑related issues.
  • Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and apply that knowledge when servicing customers.
  • Maintain and submit all required sales administration reports; regularly attend company meetings.
  • Generally possess 2–5 years of experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle for at least 20% of the average work week; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be run and an acceptable MVR is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in outside sales to professional contractors.
  • Familiarity with company products and services.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
