Produce Clerk

• Stock and rotate produce displays according to company standards and FIFO guidelines
• Maintain freshness, quality, and visual appeal of produce displays
• Assist customers with locating items, answering questions, and providing recommendations
• Learn and understand unique produce items to educate and guide shoppers
• Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department, including coolers and prep areas
• Monitor for product spoilage, quality issues, and report concerns to supervisor
• As part of your role, you may be required to perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or the company. Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities are essential expectations for all positions.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous grocery or produce experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, and stand for long periods
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to learn about diverse and unique produce items
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
