Seasonal Sales Associate – Tampa Premium Outlet

Join the loudest store in the mall! We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you’ll provide excellent customer service, ensure fans can get the merch they love, share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging product knowledge, customer service skills, and enthusiasm for the brand
• Cover the sales floor zone and maintain visual standards in assigned areas
• Operate the register to process sales transactions and drive add-on sales using benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup; assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners
• Collaborate with Store Management to prevent and address any misuse of spells or wizardry around theft
• Maintain stock room organization and keep the store tidy
• Contribute to Team Spirit by communicating and working effectively with others
• Perform any other activities as assigned by the Store Leader

• Previous experience working in a retail environment; passion for music and pop culture is a plus
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Collaborative and effective communication skills
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
