Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace will open in February 2025. Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms equipped with cutting‑edge technology. The Cook will prepare and serve food using proper food handling and safety techniques for patients, employees, and special events, ensuring that foods taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and are presented attractively in accordance with established standards.
The Cook will also maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications- Six months’ experience in quantity food preparation.
- Food Handlers Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State).
- Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
- Detail‑oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
