, you’re often the first smile and the final thank-you our guests experience in the Buffalo Bayou Coffee Bar. Your role is more than just making coffee or handling transactions—it’s about creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for what the day brings.

• Take coffee and food orders with warmth and professionalism. Make speciality coffee orders with care.
• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every arrival feels welcomed and every departure feels appreciated.
• Handle all guest payments accurately, including cash, credit card transactions, and room charges.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, and eating areas.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth flow of service.
• Assist with daily opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures as assigned.
• Uphold all company and brand standards related to guest service, safety, and financial procedures.

• A people-person with a natural talent for making others feel seen, heard, and welcomed.
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with grace.
• Confident handling money and operating POS or restaurant management systems.
• A clear communicator—both in person and over the phone.
• Able to stand for long periods and occasionally assist with lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible with scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior hospitality, barista, retail, or guest service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable working independently while being a strong part of a team.
