National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is looking for passionate, dedicated veterinarians to join our collaborative network of animal hospitals across the Tampa Bay region. • Collaborative Team Culture: Work alongside skilled veterinarians and support staff who genuinely care. Share knowledge and learn from colleagues across our regional network.
• Variety of Cases: Treat patients ranging from routine wellness and preventive medicine to advanced surgeries, dental procedures, and specialty cases. Some locations offer I-131 therapy, exotic and pocket pet care, and advanced surgical opportunities.
• Modern Facilities & Technology: Access state-of-the-art diagnostics, including IDEXX labs, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, CO2 surgical lasers, and full dental suites. Many hospitals feature newly remodeled open-concept treatment areas, large surgical suites, and spacious doctor offices.
• Professional Development: Hands-on training at NVA’s Pet One Veterinary Training Center, mentorship programs, and robust continuing education support, including paid CE days, stipends, and coverage for professional licenses and memberships.
• Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible scheduling, rotating Saturdays, 4-day work weeks at some locations, and minimal to no after-hours emergencies. Hospitals often provide recurring days off so you can enjoy your personal time.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred; 3+ years for leadership or Medical Director roles
• Commitment to the highest standards of care, ethical practice, and client education
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
