VCA Carrollwood Cat Animal Hospital is hiring a full time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We understand that cats have unique needs; that's why our hospital has a unique approach. From creating a calm environment in the lobby, to gentle handling techniques, to treatments and medications specifically made for little bodies, our practice is exclusively feline focused.

We are a 2-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Tampa, FL.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $16 - $20 / hr based on skill set, and experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Weekend rotation required.

What You'll Do

Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and communication
• Patient assessment
• Anesthesia and surgery assisting
• Radiology
• Dentistry
• Catheter placement
• Venipuncture
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Medical recordkeeping
