🔹 Role Overview - Responsibilities and Duties

A
leading healthcare facility in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking an
RN Nurse Manager for Children’s Services to lead
pediatric, NICU, and PICU teams in a
fast-paced, high-acuity setting
. This position requires
strong clinical leadership and the ability to
drive quality improvement, staff development, and patient-centered care
.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage
PICU (6 beds), NICU (20 beds), and Pediatric Units
✔️ Lead
nursing teams to ensure
high-quality patient care and staff engagement
✔️ Develop and implement
departmental policies, procedures, and performance goals
✔️ Oversee
staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
✔️ Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and operational efficiency

📋 What You Need to Succeed - Qualifications

✅
Active Florida RN License (or Compact RN with FL License Application in Progress)
✅
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
✅
Minimum 3 Years of Acute Care Nursing Experience in PICU, Pediatrics, or Children’s Services
✅
Minimum 1 Year of Leadership Experience (Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Supervisor, or Managerial Role)
✅
Certifications Required (or within 30 Days of Hire):

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (within 90 days)
• STABLE (within 60 months of hire)
