Title: RN – Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Surgical Unit
Bay Care Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Med/Surg Surgical unit team at St. Joseph’s Hospital

Position
Description:
This med/surg surgical unit specializes in pre and post op surgical patients, mainly GI/GU, trauma patients and any general surgery.
Responsibilities- Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Professional accountability and development.
- Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
- RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
- ACLS Certification, if required by department
- Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred
- 6 months of RN experience is required
