• Position is in a hospital Cath Lab in an acute care setting
• Day shift schedule with four 10‑hour shifts (7:00 to 17:00)
• Required on‑call one day per week and every fourth or fifth weekend
• Approximately one Saturday per month is part of the scheduled shift
• Patients include those needing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• May float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) departments as needed
• Epic is the charting system used and Epic experience is required
• Scrubs are provided
• Responsibilities include pre‑procedural assessment, assisting during cardiac procedures, and post‑procedure care
• Expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
• First‑time travelers are eligible and encouraged to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and meet the 50‑mile radius rule
• Time off is approved individually post‑offer, with only one request allowed per 13‑week assignment
• Free on‑site parking is available
• Magnet designated, Level II Trauma hospital
• Returned travelers must not have worked in the facility in the past three months

• Active AK RN license in hand for immediate offer
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• Physical ability to respond to on‑call responsibilities and handle busy procedural caseloads
