GME programs on the hospital campus include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

C. Patel Research Institute, supporting cardiovascular care and clinical research. The role you ll contribute: The Team Leader supervises, coordinates and performs patient care delivery on the assigned nursing unit and meets Standards of Nursing Care for the assigned shift. Coordinates and plans shift activities to ensure standards of patient care are met. Acts as a clinical resource and role model.

Participates in conducting performance appraisals for personnel on the assigned shift. The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients and other duties as assigned in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and Florida requirements for professional nursing practice. • Supervise, coordinate and perform patient care delivery on the assigned nursing unit.
• Coordinate and plan shift activities to ensure standards of patient care are met.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model; participate in performance appraisals for personnel on the assigned shift.
• Provide nursing care consistent with Division of Nursing standards and Florida nursing practice requirements.

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• 1 year experience as an RN in a specialty area.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or licensure from another state with verification for Florida endorsement.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
