We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager for our Clinical Research Unit (CRU).
Responsibilities- The CRU Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of nursing operations to ensure patient-family centered, quality care for patients enrolled in clinical trial protocols.
- Support protocol data integrity by assuring compliance with protocol-required activities.
- Mentor and serve as a resource; provide support for staff and faculty on research and nursing issues while meeting departmental, nursing, and organizational goals.
- Participate in development and execution of training programs and quality improvement systems, including the development of SOPs, to assure high-quality clinical research throughout the Institution.
- Required:
Graduate of state-accredited nursing program. B.S.N. or an Associate's degree with a BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire. - Preferred:
Master's in Nursing.
- Current Florida RN license.
- ACLS designation required for BMT, SCU, and Telemetry inpatient units.
- Certification in area of specialty required.
- Current provider designation in BCLS.
- Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, emergency intervention, teaching skills.
- Demonstrated competency in inpatient and outpatient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes.
