Asst Patient Care Manager

Overview

We are currently looking for an Assistant Patient Care Manager for our 3-Central Immunotherapy Unit:

The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

• Minimum Education: Bachelor s Degree, or Associates degree with BSN in process within university guidelines, graduation not exceed 4yrs from date of hire.
• Preferred Education: Masters of Nursing
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license and BLS
• Minimum Experience
  
  Required:
  
  Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
• Minimum Skills/Specialized Training
  
  Required:
  
  Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes
• Preferred Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
