Bay Care Health System is currently seeking a Registered Charge Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital
.

• Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.

• Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.

• Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

• ACLS Certification if required by department

• RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.

• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

• Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion.

· 2 years of RN experience in acute care is required. At least one year of RN experience in PACU, emergency department, or critical care is preferred.

· 1 year of leadership experience is preferred
