We are seeking a Per Diem OR/PACU RN to join our Westshore, FL team. PRN hours vary as needed.

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2‑3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
