Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Position Summary

Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role

Provides high-quality, patient-centered interventional pain management care to outpatient populations

Practices collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and evaluations
  • Diagnose conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide direct clinical care across outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care plans
  • Maintain quality, safety, and infection prevention standards
  • Respond effectively to urgent and emergent clinical situations
  • Support efficient clinical operations and positive team culture
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current national certification appropriate to role
  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA licensure in the practicing state
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Knowledge of primary care principles and clinical best practices
  • Pharmacology knowledge, including indications, dosing, and side effects
  • Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures
  • Understanding of quality, safety, and infection control standards
  • Ability to communicate medical information clearly to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or emergency situations
