Bay Care Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Med/Surg Surgical unit team eph’s Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
This Med/Surg surgical unit specializes in pre and post‑op surgical patients, mainly GI/GU, trauma patients and general surgery.
Responsibilities- Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Professional accountability and development.
- Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Certifications and Licensures
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
- RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
- ACLS Certification, if required by department
- Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience
2 years of RN experience is required.
