Overview

New Life Village is an intergenerational community home to adoptive, kinship, and foster-to-permanency families, as well as supportive seniors. The Village provides below-market housing and onsite programming, including case management, within a supportive community.

Our Trauma-Informed Wellness, Resilience, and Character Development Program focuses on safety, partnership, growth, healing, and fun to help children heal from trauma and thrive, while seniors contribute as mentors and tutors.

The VISTA Member will expand programming as the community grows and participate in Village events.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with residents, staff, and the greater Tampa Bay nonprofit community to strengthen the Program and ensure access to health, financial, vocational, educational, and wellness resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve programming communication and engagement models.
• Deepen partner relationships and expand the breadth of available community resources.
• Track event participation and community volunteerism.

Permits attendance at school during off hours and permits working at another job during off hours. Car recommended.
